About
Susan is on a mission to make healthy nutritious food more accessible. The idea for the company arose as Susan was struggling to feed her vegan son nutritious food that tasted great. Susan started to read the back of packs and saw that so much food was not as healthy as it purported to be. She realised there was a gap for a truly authentic brand that valued nutrition and taste in equal measure. Susan created a unique product, a moreish baked bite that can be eaten as a biscuit or cracker comprising 14 all natural allergy free kitchen cupboard ingredients, and at least 5 varieties of seed, bound together with apple puree, chicory root inulin, dash of pure extra virgin olive oil and lightly baked to create a snap. Seed snacks have won a 2 star award from Great Taste and a Nourish award for best savoury healthy snack. Seed snacks support gut health, are a certified prebiotic, are gluten free, contain no added sugar, are certified low sugar, a source of protein, are high in fibre and vegan. Seed snacks also include 113% of daily Omega 3's and 19% daily magnesium. Mindful of the planet seed snacks are sold in fully recyclable bags and are free of vegetable and palm oil. Seed snacks are versatile as they can be eaten on their own or with soups, dips, salads, porridge or desserts.
