Treleavens Luxury Cornish Ice Cream is an award winning ice cream producer based in North Cornwall making an eye watering selection of the finest ice creams and sorbets with natural ingredients and Cornish milk and cream.

Cornish ice cream is influenced by two things.

The first is the more obvious – Cornish milk and cream. We buy our milk, cream and clotted cream from Trewithen Dairy, our most local supplier. The dairy is only 6 miles from our farm and their milk comes from the cows that surround our site in rural North Cornwall, so we know the farmers (and cows) that make the milk. They are all dedicated professionals who love their cows like their own children, often with generations of dairy farming in the family. The temperate Cornish climate means that the grass grows for longer than the rest of the UK and the cows are outside for more of the year. We think this makes happier, healthier cows and the best ice cream.

Second is the amazing food culture, we have some of the country’s best food producers and restaurateurs; food in Cornwall has a real buzz about it. We are continually inspired by both our customers and suppliers to develop new and authentic products with a passion. We work with some of the best Chefs in Cornwall to create new and innovative products to complement their menus or they rely on us to deliver consistent, top notch old favourites because they know how important it is to execute the simple things beautifully. There is a strong sense of community in Cornwall and the Cornish food movement is certainly a part of that. It might be producers of fudge, rum, gin or sea buckthorn: there are lots of enthusiastic individuals, making amazing products, all keen to see how our products can cross over, often with great success.
