From its beginnings in 1988 when fruit farmers Edward and Penelope Kain, started  producing high quality fruit liqueurs with their excess fruit, 6 O’Clock Gin is still a family business run by the couple’s children Michael and Felicity.

As one of the most traditional drinks originated in the UK, our gin, produced in one of the most beautiful parts of England, bases its values in its Britishness, craftsmanship, the quality of the 7 botanicals we use to produce our traditional gin, and the aesthetics of our brand.

Its quality is excellent; our many awards are testimony of that. And we’ve packaged our bottles beautifully to stand out and make justice to our brand values and ambitious aspirations.

On the back of our strong UK business, our focus is now on export markets where we are already seeing success across Europe, North America and the Middle East. With plans in place to become a major international brand already well under way, our ambitions to become a leading exported craft gin are audacious, but very possible.

To succeed we understand the importance of marketing our products – the brand core values and our ‘Gin – Time’ positioning.

Our strategy is to enter a market and translate our digital content to any language, creating awareness and developing a sense of humour for the brand resonating with our consumers and distributors.

‘It’s always 6 O’clock somewhere’ keeps our consumers engaged driving improved margins for our retailers and our distributors.
